Chippewa County Housing Authority is a public housing authority that provides a variety of housing resources and services for low and moderate income households. All of our programs are income based. Income limits vary by program.
Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP)
The Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) provides assistance for heating costs, electric costs, and energy crisis situations. Operating with federal and state funding, the program provides assistance to households across the state to help lower the burden incurred with monthly energy costs.
Wisconsin Rural Housing
Rural Housing is an effective small agency. We serve the very poor. Over the years we have done many things to innovate and fill gaps in housing all over Wisconsin. We collaborate with and support local efforts to build on their resources. Our assistance is intentionally flexible so that we can help cover various needs across all 69 rural counties.
